I have decided to write about my favorite asked questions. These are the questions I get asked the most often in the last 6 years of business. Enjoy!

Question: How long does it take to learn calligraphy?

Answer: It depends. Practice makes perfect. Give yourself at least 30 minutes a day and spend time learning the basic strokes and letter formation and it will take you a long way. It took me a good 6 months- 1 year to get proficient in calligraphy

Question: What is the craziest thing you’ve been asked to write on?

Answer: I was asked to create a tattoo of my calligraphy on someones body

Are you currently teaching calligraphy classes?

Answer: Yes I’m located in Greenville, South Carolina. I teach small groups of 5-10 people. If you have a group of 5-10 people that would like to get together and learn calligraphy, send me an email and I will come up with the location and pricing based on the amount of people/ length of time. I am open to teaching one on one as well. I am also open to corporate calligraphy.

Question: Can you write like that other girl?

Answer: No. You can hire that other girl. If you’d like my calligraphy it looks like the picture listed on my Etsy page.

Question: What are the silliest questions you get asked:

Answer: The last question, for sure. Also, pick your favorite font for this project. You mean my calligraphy, right? It’s not a font, ha ha. Can you do 600 agates in 2 days? Haha. I’m sure I could. I also need to take my time with my writing.
